On 12 January, the Rector of the UW, Prof. Alojzy Nowak, unveiled a plaque with the inscription ‘SALA IMIENIA JANA ŁUKASIEWICZA’ (JAN ŁUKASIEWICZ HALL) above Room 108 at the Faculty of Philosophy of the UW, dedicated to the famous Polish logician and Rector. Following the unveiling of the plaque, Prof. Jacek Jadacki gave a lecture entitled “The Liar” at the Lviv-Warsaw School.
