Justyna Jasik is a student at the Faculty of Archaeology, University of Warsaw. She also holds degrees in Sociology from the Higher School of Personnel Management and in Budgetary Accounting and Public Finance from the University of Wrocław.
She has built up substantial experience in administration, finance and accounting, as well as in information management, through previous roles at several commercial firms, at Halinów Town Hall, and at the Okuniew Municipal Cultural Centre. She has been associated with the University of Warsaw for several years, most recently as an independent administrative specialist at the Faculty of Archaeology, where her responsibilities included:
- providing accounting support for research projects funded by the National Science Centre, the National Programme for the Development of the Humanities, and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage
- preparing data for reports and recording costs associated with research projects
- drafting and checking financial and cost documents for formal and substantive compliance
- reviewing the budgets of commissioned research projects, both at the planning stage and during implementation
- liaising with the Research Support Office
She is a board member of the Association of University Museums, serving as treasurer.
