Educational Programmes
Otwarte Czwartki to projekt realizowany przez Muzeum Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, we współpracy z uniwersyteckim Biurem ds. Rekrutacji.
Educational Programmes
Open Thursdays (in partnership with the University’s Admissions Office)
Designed for secondary school pupils, this programme explores the history of Warsaw’s oldest university — its academic and cultural heritage, and its current degree offerings. Sessions also walk participants through the university admissions process step by step.
Campus & Museum Workshops
Did you know that Fryderyk Chopin once looked out of the windows here, 200 years ago? Or what was housed in the Column Hall — and why it was built from plaster? Or what was discovered inside an elephant sent from St Petersburg in 1827?
Our educational programme brings the historic campus and museum to life through fascinating stories tailored to pupils’ age groups and aligned with core curriculum requirements. Workshops give pupils the space to get creative and let their imaginations run free.
Sessions run Monday–Friday at 10:00 AM, for groups of up to 25 people:
- 300 PLN (tour only)
- 400 PLN (tour with workshop)
To book, email muw@adm.uw.edu.pl or call 22 55 20 107 (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM). Please include:
